For current information on the consular fees for your visa please call (888) 975 4321 to speak with a travel document specialist. The specialist will "check in and review" your application and instruct you which office to overnight your application.
Tourist Visa
- Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport (US Re-entry Permits or Refugee Travel Documents are also accepted) A passport should have at least one blank visa page and should be valid for at least 90 days upon conclusion of your trip.
- 1 Application Form, (must be fully completed and signed)
- 1 Recent passport-type photograph
- If you formerly had USSR or Belarusian citizenship, please submit the documents proving the loss of USSR/Belarusian citizenship
- Completed Credit Card Authorization form
- An original or a copy of a letter of invitation from a Belarus travel agency. Hosting organization should be registered as a tourist company by the Belarusian authorities
- If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child's birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.
- Note:Visa support is now available ONLY with a valid hotel reservation. The hotel reservation MUST be made through the company issuing a voucher and the invitation itself can only be valid for the duration of the hotel reservation. Belarus consulates in the US and Europe usually call the hotel mentioned in the paperwork to verify that there is a valid hotel reservation

- Citizens of the US, Canada, European Union states and some other countries (please, check at the Embassy), who applies for business visa to the Republic of Belarus valid through 30 days or less do not need to provide any letters of invitation. Still, the inviting organization's full name (not abbreviation) and address must be indicated in the visa application form.
- Multi Entry Visa: Multiple-entry long-term (type D) business visa requires confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus
- If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child's birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.

- Visa to next destination already in passport, or, copy of ticket to next destination, or, other evidence of travel onwards within 48 hours.
- If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child's birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.
Private visit or Home stay visit

- 1 Recent passport-type photograph
- If you formerly had USSR or Belarusian citizenship, please submit the documents proving the loss of USSR/Belarusian citizenship
- Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization form
- One International Passport Visa order form
- If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child's birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.
- Citizens of the US, Canada, European Union states and some other countries (please, check at the Embassy), who applies for private visa to the Republic of Belarus valid through 30 days or less do not need to provide any letters of invitation. Still, the inviting person's first and last names and home address must be indicated in the visa application form.
- Invitation letter for stays over 30 days is required from the local visa office at the Ministry of the Interior in Belarus. Stays of less than 30 days does not require an invitation letter.Your host must obtain this Invitation Letter for you and send the original certificate to you.
Your host will be required to provide the following details: - Your Full Name, Address and Nationality
- Passport Number and Date of Birth
- Your Date of Arrival/Departure in Belarus. ( Allow 4-6 weeks for approval)
