Tourist Visa

• Submit your valid U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining, after completion of stay in Afghanistan, and contain at least one blank visa page
  
• 1 Application form fully completed and signed
• 1 Passport-type photograph
• A letter addressed to the Embassy of Afghanistan detailing the purpose of your visit and details of your intended activities in Afghanistan during your visit.
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
• Completed Credit Card Authorization form   

Business Visa

• Submit your valid U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining, after completion of stay in Afghanistan, and contain at least one blank visa page
  
• 1 Application form fully completed and signed
• 1 Passport-type photograph
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
• Completed Credit Card Authorization form    
• For business visitors, a business letter of introduction and financial responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead, signed by a company officer and addressed to:

Embassy of Afghanistan, Visa Section

The letter must state all of the following:
• Purpose of the visit
• Business reference in Afghanistan to be visited
• Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and their return transportation to the USA
